Why supporting our local team is important

Selby Rugby Sponsorship

When RJC was founded 8 years ago, we wanted to be more than just a service provider. Yes, we wanted to provide quality plant services at great value, but as a proud local business we also wanted to play a part and give back to our local community.

Everything we do as a company is based upon our core values: Honesty, Professionalism, Respect and Giving Back. We work with integrity, ensure we are reliable and treat everyone with respect, and we look to support others where we can.

Alongside a calendar of one off events like the afternoon tea we provided for Church Fenton’s elderly residents for Random Act of Kindness Day and getting muddy in the Total Warrior Challenge to raise money for the Hollybank Trust that keep the team busy, we also like to provide ongoing support to local organisations.

Supporting Local Sport Teams

With a team who just happen to be huge sports fans, we’ve taken the opportunity to sponsor some of our local sports teams too as the play such an important, ongoing part in our community.

  • RJC are proud sponsors of our local football team Church Fenton FC. The club has been a key part of village life for many years and we’re delighted to see our brand on their match day promo. Fingers crossed the team make this year’s Cup final.
  • We have recently also become a sponsor of our local rugby club, Selby RUFC. With members of the team regularly playing and watching games, it made total sense to show our ongoing support to the club after supporting members of the team in the past raise funds for the likes of MNDA.

By supporting our local teams we hope to ensure these clubs continue to offer great sport opportunities for locals of all ages and remain safe, inclusive and fun spaces for the community.

It’s also great that more people are finding out about the services RJC provide including grab hire, aggregates, topsoil, muck away, tipper hire and road sweeping services.

If you’re looking for plant hire services across Yorkshire and the M62 corridor, do get in touch to find out how the team can help your waste removal, building or landscaping project. Email rjcplantservices@gmail.com or call 07824 426776/07710 473526
